The Candle Bar is a creative workshop destination offering clients the unique opportunity to design and create their own custom candles. We aim to provide a memorable, hands-on experience for candle enthusiasts and craft lovers of all skill levels.

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Candle Bar Instructor to lead our daily candle-making classes. As an instructor, you will guide clients through the entire candle-making process, ensuring a fun, safe, and educational environment. Your role is vital in helping each participant unleash their creativity while crafting a unique candle they can take home.

Compensation:

$30 per session. This role is a contract role paid per class taught. There are 2-4 classes available each day.

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily candle-making classes for individuals, groups, and special events.

Provide clear and concise instructions on candle-making techniques and safety procedures.

Assist clients in selecting scents for their candles.

Set up and prepare the workspace with necessary materials and tools before each class.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the session.

Engage with participants to foster a welcoming and creative atmosphere.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the candle-making process.

Process payments and manage class bookings as needed.

Represent The Candle Bar with a professional demeanor and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications:

Experience in teaching or leading workshops (preferred).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiastic and friendly, with a passion for crafts and DIY projects.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexibility to work according to class schedule, including weekends and evenings.
