FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KandB Holdings outlines an online-focused model and plans for a smaller boutique beyond Houston
HOUSTON, Texas — October 21, 2026 — KandB Holdings, the new ownership of Forth and Nomad, announces the brand’s departure from its Houston storefront at 731 Yale Street in the Heights and a transition toward online retail, with plans for a smaller boutique at another destination.
Ownership says the decision follows a review of the business’s recent performance, changes in how customers shop, and the cost of operating a large storefront in a premium retail district.
Expanding e-commerce has been central to KandB Holdings’ plans for the brand since the acquisition. The ownership team believes a stronger online focus serves customers who prefer to browse and order online and positions the brand to compete nationally.
Leaving the Houston storefront was a difficult decision because of the relationships and experiences built there. Ownership believes that concentrating on online sales and a smaller physical footprint is the right direction for the business.
Customers can continue shopping Forth and Nomad’s newest apparel collections, accessories, and home goods at www.forthandnomad.com.
The planned boutique would offer a curated in-person experience that complements the online store. Its destination and opening timeline will be announced when confirmed.
Forth and Nomad thanks its Houston customers and community for their support. Customers can visit www.forthandnomad.com to shop and follow future announcements.
