Our Candle Bar was the most-booked thing we ever did in the shop. Now that Forth & Nomad is online, we've brought it home to you. Our Candle Bar at Home kits come with soy wax hand-poured in the USA and a cotton wick. Kit + Jar sets also include the jar. It's an easy, cozy project for a slow weekend, a girls' night or a holiday gift.
What you'll need
- A Candle Bar at Home kit, in your favorite scent
- The jar from your kit, or any clean, heat-safe container you already love
- A heat-safe surface and a little patience
How to pour your candle
- Pick your scent. For cozy season we love Pine Tree & Balsam, Pumpkin Spice, Cozy Fireplace and Warm Vanilla Sugar.
- Set the wick. Center the wick in your jar and hold it upright with the centering tool.
- Melt the wax. Follow the melting directions printed on your kit's wax pouch. Never leave melting wax unattended.
- Pour slowly. Pour the melted wax into the jar, keeping the wick centered.
- Let it set. Leave the candle undisturbed until the wax is fully firm.
- Trim and light. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn. Let the first burn melt the wax all the way to the edge for an even burn.
